Year 7 |
The Romans in Britain are studied to give us an understanding of our
origins. The Greeks from the days of Troy are studied to give a historical
perspective to the reading of the Odyssey in English lessons. |

The Cambridge Latin Course,
following the adventures of a Roman family in AD 79, is used. A reading
knowledge of Latin is taught. |

GCSE 2 Latin authors are studied. There is a paper on Latin background
studies in English, as a culture cannot be fully understood through
language alone; and a translation paper. |
