Department
In the History Department we aim to encourage and further pupils'
fascination with the past. We use a variety of resources and activities to
explore the broad areas of the curriculum, including: school trips, drama
activities, source analysis and other creative tasks. |

The history department
broadly follows the National Curriculum. We start by looking at Medieval
England from 1066 and cover the major social, political and religious
developments of the next six centuries. Among the topics covered are the
Norman Conquest, the Black Death, the Civil War and a study of Tudor
religion. |
