In 1926
the school consisted of 10 pupils, eight rabbits and two spaniels as shown in
the photograph below.

school grew over the years as these school photographs taken in 1928 and 1931
show.
In 1935
The Mount School moved to Mill Hill. A school bus would take pupils to Mill
Hill each morning from Highgate and return them in the evening. Old girls
remember that a paraffin heater in the bus kept them warm on winter mornings.
