ESOL Department - Party
As part of the Cultural Enrichment Programme the ESOL Department hold an Easter Party every March. All the students, their parents and siblings come together to share food and play traditional games.

The most recent party started with an Easter Egg Hunt, followed by a sumptuous feast to which everybody contributed. The parents excelled themselves with many varieties of sushi, chicken, noodles and deserts. The highlight was the Easter Bonnet Parade. Junior students wore their colourful and creative designs of all shapes and sizes. The highly competitive Senior competition to decorate an egg produced many original designs. Finally they played games such as ‘Pass The Parcel’, which proved hilarious as students were seen to mimic chickens, put lipstick on a friend whilst blindfolded and sing songs, ‘Chase The Tail’ and ‘Musical Newspaper’. It is now tradition to finish with a game of Chopsticks, where students need to make a quick response to make the right shape.
