Throughout Key Stage 3 and 4, we
use videos, internet research, encourage discussion,
debates and role-plays, use competitions and quizzes,
and there is a Geography Now board showing
the relevance of Geography to our everyday lives,
as well as a constantly changing display of students
work. We also have an Interactive Whiteboard in
the department!

| Year 7 |
Field day at the Wetland Centre in Barnes to study
wetland habitats, sustainability, food chains plus
pond dipping activity. |
| Year 8 |
Field day at Wimpole Home Farm in Cambridgeshire
to learn about farming and carry out learning activities
such as Victorian dairymaid talks with butter making. |
| Year 9 |
Educational day trip to the Natural History Museum
with the Biology Department, focusing on sustainability
and our foot print. |
| Year 10 |
Residential fieldwork at Swanage investigating
coastal processes at Swanage Bay. Swanage Online
