Field work will be done in Epping Forest and there are also conferences and events to attend.

The whole Geography course is wonderfully diverse. The subject is highly regarded by both the academic and business world.

It equips a young person with knowledge and awareness of people and their environments, as well as the
skills to describe, analyse and synthesise information of all kinds - statistics, graphs, maps and reports. It combines well languages, sciences, mathematics and other humanities to help produce a well rounded person that everyone appreciates!

GCSE Geography, ideally grade B or above.
In exceptional circumstances, a student who did not choose the GCSE option may be admitted on the course.

Units 4 & 5 Each has an exam 1 hour
Structured essay questions
Choice of 2 out of 6 on each paper
Unit 6 Synoptic paper involves a decision making question and 1 essay from a choice of 4 titles

Geography is a highly regarded subject for both university entrance and various careers.
