The Mount School - Junior School

The Mount School is a friendly family school with a caring and supporting ethos where every individual is valued for their unique personal qualities.

Early Years Foundation Stage
In our Reception class the Early Years Foundation Stage goals form the foundations on which later learning can grow; a profile of development is built up so that by Year 1 teachers and support staff will have a clear picture of the needs and abilities of each child.
Infants School

Once in Year 1 girls follow a wide curriculum and we strive to provide our pupils with the best opportunities for progression in their learning in a rich and stimulating environment, building on what they have already learnt.

Junior School

The Junior School offers a structure for learning that has a range of starting points, content that matches the needs of our pupils and activities that provide opportunities for learning in many areas. We strive to give our pupils appropriate work to challenge and consolidate their knowledge as they progress through the school.

Activities

We organise a wide range of visits, trips and activities to enrich our curriculum and allow pupils to experience learning in a wider environment.
