| Introduction |
We have a programme of author
visits throughout the year – Meg Rosoff,
Cathy Cassidy, Catherine Forde and Narinder
Dhami came earlier this year and we’re
looking forward to meeting Jamila Gavin in
November and to Caroline Lawrence’s visit
on World Book Day in March next year.
As well as regular lively Book Club meetings,
recent events have included taking part in
the Barnet Schools Book Quiz (a pub-style
quiz against teams from other Barnet schools);
the Barnet Carnegie Shadowing Event (Year
8 girls joined a seminar with other Barnet
schools) and a Roald Dhal Quiz for Roald Dhal
day. |
