Lost
Property
Inevitably
things do get lost at School. It does help if all items of clothing
are clearly named. If your daughter does lose something here is
what she should do:
Small
items such as purses, mobile phones, glasses, pencil cases etc
1. Go back
to where you think you may have lost it! It may still be there!
2. Report
the loss to Mrs Lewis. All items of value should be handed in to
her.
3. Ask the
form teacher to make an announcement in class.
PE Kit -
This really does accumulate and it does help if you encourage your
daughter to track down lost items.
1. Check
the field, pavilion and the gym.
2. Ask Mrs
Owen or Miss Allen if it has been handed in.
3. Check
the PE lost property basket in the Basement Room by the Music Room.
But please keep this basket tidy so that other girls can find
things.
Coats,
Blazers, Jumpers and so on
1. Go back
to where you think you may have lost it! It may still be there!
2. Check
the general lost property basket in the Basement Room by the Music
Room.
3. Ask the
form teacher to make an announcement in class
Lost
Property Reclaim Day
At the end of
each half-term there will be a lost property reclaim day. All
unclaimed items will be displayed in the dining room. This is the
last chance for your daughter to claim any lost items. The school
will dispose of any items unclaimed after this day. Items will be
sent for recycling, to charity shops or to our Outgrown Uniform
sale. |
